Sawyer turned 2 months old on December 5th

Sawyer turned 2 months old on December 5th. He is already changing and developing so much since he was born. He is laughing and smiling all of the time now and he is starting to bat at objects.

I am so lucky because he really is such a good baby. He is so happy and alert. He's very content and mellow, unless he is hungry, wet or farting up a storm!

We had ourselves a little photo shoot today. I'm trying to treasure every moment with him, because the baby stage goes by so fast. His little personality is starting to shine and I cannot wait to see what he becomes.

Getting Ready for Christmas

The decorating got off to an interesting start when Marshall decided to make his own snow by destroying a styrofoam container!

What a mess! It was EVERYWHERE..... but we had to laugh. It's nothing that a vacuum cleaner won't take care of.

Sawyer supervised our decorating.

And here is the family picture! After a minor problem with the camera's timer, Marshall making funny faces and waving at the camera we finally got a decent shot!

And then the best part!! Decorating the tree......

Marshall was more interested in his candy cane and Sawyer wanted to eat the whole time so Jaylee ended up doing most of the tree decorating.

She did a pretty good job! It was a fun day, although at times a bit stressful......

This will be our first Christmas in the new house and we are so excited!

Now let's hope for some SNOW!!

Marshall's first trip to the Dentist

Marshall had his first trip to the dentist today!

He's becoming such a big boy now....

He is growing up way too fast!

Getting his first set of dental x-rays done.

Now it's time to floss!

He did a great job! He was so well behaved and brave! No cavities!!

I know, I know...... It's a silly hat. But it's so CUTE!

Our friend Wade let Marshall wear his police badge, and Marshall thought that was just the coolest thing ever!!!

November has come and gone.... and we have lots to be thankful for. Last November was so hard, we lost a baby. This November we have a beautiful baby boy, an amazing kindergartner, a hilarious 3 year old, a beautiful home, wonderful family and friends, a thriving business and so much more!

I can feel that 2012 is going to be an amazing year! It has to be....

Jaylee and Marshall's Tree

Jaylee and Marshall have a special place in our yard. It's their favorite tree that they call "their tree house"

I found them sitting under this tree for the longest time, just

talking away. It was the sweetest thing.

I really hope that they always stay this close. They love each other so much. They play together and we often find them "camped" out in each other's rooms.

It will be interesting to see how Sawyer fits into the equation once he gets older.

Sawyer's One Month Birthday

Today is Sawyer's one month birthday! He took a nap in his crib today for the very first time!

I can't believe it's been a month already!

I can't wait for his little personality to start shining through.
