This past weekend Jaylee had her annual dance recital. She takes a dance class called "Twinkle Babies" it's a creative movement dance class for 4 and 5 year olds.
She danced to "All Shook Up" and her and all of the girl's did such a great job. As you can see she certainly didn't mind dressing up and getting her hair and make-up done!
She danced both Friday night and on Saturday afternoon.

Here is the whole group of girls that Jaylee dances with. This is their second year dancing together, and they have all become such good friends. It's amazing how well they all play and interact together. They never fight or fuss, they just have lots of fun dancing together.

Jaylee was so happy to get flowers delivered back stage from her brother Marshall on Saturday.
Posing on stage after her Saturday performance. She was pretty tired from all of the craziness of recital, but she had so much fun doing it! We plan on keeping her in dance for as long as she likes it, and we are going to keep the whole group of girls together if we can.
I noticed that she is starting to change again. She's growing and looking less like a pre-schooler and more like a little girl. I just can't believe how fast it is going by. She just finished with Pre-K and starts kindergarten in the fall.
I am so proud of her and the little girl she is becoming. She is so smart and sweet. Overall she is such a good girl, who cares about others and is full of life. I hope it stays that way!!
