Jaylee has been danceing with Sydney, Grace, Allison and Madison since they were all 3 years old! If you scroll back through the blog you will see that. These girls have a bond that I can't quite describe. They very rarely fight, bicker or talk bad about each other. They are all full of laughter, love and friendship for each other. It's so neat to watch them grow up together. Jaylee is so lucky to have such a great group of friends, and I am just as lucky because their Mom's are pretty cool too!! My dance Mom's have become such an important part of my life. They have become such amazing friends, sometimes more like family. There is never ill talk, gossip (about each other), or negativeity towards each other. There is only friendship, support, laughter and sometimes tears between us.
I never realized as an adult how hard it can be to make and maintain friendships! Once you have kids, jobs and life in general, it makes for very little time and friendships tend to be put on the back burner. Time passes, and friendships can suffer. I'm naturally a loner, because I was an only child. I'm not shy, but naturally more quiet then most. I am most definitely an observer and it takes some time for me to open up. Once I'm warmed up though, watch out I am a goof ball and most always a ditz. These ladies love me for all of my weird quirks and my hoarding of animals... haha
But with Jaylee going to dance class two times a week for well over an hour, it makes for some really nice bonding time! So I just want to thank them for being AWESOME! Since I am so behind on my blog, there have been new friendships formed as well, which is even more awesome. And while I am at it, getting all emotional, I am blessed with really amazing friends in general! Some live close by and some live far away, but each and every one of my friends (you know who you are) mean the world to me!!
So now on that note, here are pictures from Jaylee's dance recital from June 1, 2013
